Lynne was born in Greensboro. She grew up in Sedgefield. Her father, Dr John Futrell, practiced medicine in Sedgefield. She graduated from Millis Road elementary school, Jamstown middle school, Ragsdale high school and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her degree is in interior design. When East West partners began to develop Adams Farm which joined her grandfather’s farm she became interested in real estate and wanted to participate in the development of the land that she had grown up on and played on as a child.
From 1989-1998 Lynne made her living selling real estate in Adams Farm as Adams Farm’s #1 sales agent. In 1996 she continued her specialty of Adams Farm with Prudential specializing in the Adams Farm area. At this point her clients that she had originally sold homes to years ago were “moving up”. They wanted more house in Adams Farm or they wanted more house in the area. Most buyers move up within a five mile radius of where they currently live. Sedgefield became the most likely “move up” destination. Sedgefield was also the neighborhood where Lynne grew up. Sedgefield became the most likely extension of Lynne’s area of expertise. At this point, and in light of this expansion, Lynne was awarded for top sales in America. The combination of her love of Adams Farm, where she visited her grandparents and played as a child and Sedgefield where she grew up proved a winning combination.
In 2003 she teamed up with an admired co-worker, Robin Covington. She and Robin dedicate themselves to Adams Farm, Sedgefield and the surrounding community. They consistently lead sales in our community because of their extensive marketing, their vast experience and their genuine love of our neighborhood. They sell our lifestyle and that's what makes the difference.
